Large domestic engineering machinery manufacturing companies have also successively put forward specific requirements and coating goals for appearance and corrosion. In order to adapt to and accept new market demands, engineering machinery manufacturers are actively introducing and improving high-performance coating products and advanced coating processes to improve the overall anti-corrosion and decorative performance of the products. Anticorrosion coatings are one of the most economical and effective protective methods in modern industry and are an indispensable and important part of the modern industrial coating system. There are three main forms of protection of metal substrates by industrial anticorrosion coatings: shielding, corrosion inhibiting and cathode protection. Construction machinery coatings are paints painted on the surface of construction machinery and various machine parts. Their main functions are: 1. Anti-rust protection, extend the life of the entire machine, and reduce losses and processing costs caused by rust between processes; 2. Obtain a beautiful appearance and enhance market competitiveness; 3. Convenient for users to use and maintain.
Construction machinery coatings can be divided into primer, middle coating and topcoat according to the coating.
Primer is a basic coating applied to the surface of an object to base the base. Construction machinery, especially large-scale construction machinery, generally operates open-air operations, directly contacting air, moisture, and impurities, and withstand wind and sun exposure. Some construction conditions are harsh, and the adhesion and corrosion resistance of the coating film mainly rely on this layer of primer. Primer is the prerequisite for the durability and beauty of the topcoat. The corrosion resistance of the coating is crucial to the use cycle of the construction machinery and a good appearance. Its main performance tests include standards and methods related to coating water resistance, oil resistance, heat resistance, salt water resistance, etc. The mechanical properties of primer mainly include impact strength, hardness, adhesion, flexibility and other properties. If the mechanical properties of the primer are not very good, the coating film will easily be destroyed during the production, shipment and work of parts or machinery, thus losing the corrosion resistance of the primer. The quality of construction performance will also affect the production efficiency, cost and appearance of construction machinery. The construction performance of primer is mainly reflected in surface drying, hard work, leveling, coating hiding power and construction adaptation period. If the primer drying time is too long or a very high drying temperature is required, it will affect the spraying time of the next paint, thereby increasing the construction cost. Poor leveling of primer leads to uneven surface after the coating is dry, and there may be problems such as low gloss, orange peel, and poor freshness when spraying topcoat.
Middle coating is a coating that connects the primer and the topcoat. The main function is to fill the bottom substrate and isolate the defects of the primer layer, so as to improve the plumpness and vividness of the topcoat coating, enhance the adhesion of the topcoat to the coating, increase the thickness of the entire matching coating, and improve the water resistance and corrosion resistance of the entire coated object. It is required to have a strong bonding force with the upper and lower coatings; the coating hardness is moderate, and the solvent of the topcoat cannot "bite" the coating, and it must have good water and moisture resistance, and will not cause the topcoat to blister, and the grinding performance must be good, and it can dry at an appropriate high temperature. When drying, it must not stick to sandpaper and have good dryness. For parts with low decorative requirements and areas with good surface flatness of the substrate, they can be sprayed without spraying, thereby reducing the cost of engineering machinery products.
Topcoat is the "overcoat" of engineering machinery products. Topcoat can make engineering machinery have a high gloss, rich colors, and give people a sense of beauty. The effect of the topcoat directly affects customers' judgment on the quality of construction machinery products, so the appearance color and effect are being paid more and more attention. Mainly consider the following aspects: protection, decorativeness, and construction. With the continuous progress of society, people pay more attention to environmental protection and physical health, and put forward higher requirements for the environmental protection and efficiency of paints. Therefore, under the increasingly strict national environmental protection policies, the use of traditional anti-rust pigments has been greatly restricted, especially lead-based anti-rust pigments, chromate series, etc., which have good corrosion resistance and are stable, but they have a great negative impact on human body damage and the environment. Such products have now been basically replaced by other lead-free anti-rust pigments. However, because the prices of alternative materials are generally relatively expensive, the cost of coating remains high, which puts huge pressure on the competition of paint companies.

Excellent heat resistance.
Recommended amount of addition: 5%-15%
2. Application of GM-3 in coating in engineering machinery
Typical features: 1. Give the medium coating excellent adhesion and fullness; 2. Shield/block water vapor, chemical substances, etc.; 3. Improve the corrosion resistance of neutral salt spray, acid, alkali and other corrosion resistance, and use it in conjunction with anti-rust pigments to improve corrosion performance and reduce costs.
Recommended amount of addition: 5%-15%
3. Application of GRIC GD-3 in engineering machinery topcoat
Typical features: 1. Adjust the internal stress of the coating, improve the continuity, density and excellent mechanical properties of the paint film, improve the impact strength and tensile deformation of the paint film, and increase the wear resistance of the coating; 2. Shield/block water vapor, chemical substances, etc.; 3. Shield ultraviolet and infrared functions: improve the UV and thermal radiation resistance of the top paint and the bottom paint; 4. Improve the corrosion resistance of neutral salt spray, acid and alkali resistance, and use it in conjunction with anti-rust pigments to improve the corrosion resistance and reduce costs; 5. Decoration: outstanding crack resistance, the paint surface is delicate, uniform, smooth and full; 6. Construction: excellent leveling.
