On the morning of May 28, 2019, the signing and unveiling ceremony of the "Functional Material Application Technology Laboratory" jointly established by CNOOC Changzhou Paint Chemical Research Institute Co., Ltd. (National Coating Engineering Technology Research Center)-Chuzhou Grea Mining Co., Ltd. was a complete success, opening a new journey of application technology development and marketing promotion of mica functional new materials in the field of water-based anticorrosion coatings.

The joint construction laboratory integrates the advantages of both parties' industries, technology, talents, brands, resources, etc., with high-end water-based anticorrosion coatings as the development direction, focusing on the application technology development and product optimization and upgrading of mica functional materials in water-based coatings, especially the field of heavy anticorrosion, to achieve seamless connection between the deep development of mica resources and the application technology, to enhance the industry's technological innovation capabilities, promote the coordinated development of the industry, advocate industry green standards, and promote the industrial upgrading of paint with the spirit of openness and sharing.
