Grea silicon micropowder is processed from a unique companion quartz ore in Chuzhou area through multiple processes such as ore dressing, crushing, ball milling, and airflow grading. The product has a hardness of 5-6 and a specific gravity of 2.6-2.8. It has the characteristics of low oil absorption, easy dispersion, and anti-settlement. As a cost-effective mineral filling material, silicon micropowder has made outstanding contributions in wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and improving the hardness of coatings and related products.

Application areas:

1. Anticorrosion paint: Silicon powder is usually used in primer and intermediate paint for anticorrosion coatings. It has requirements for the fineness, hardness and acid and alkali resistance of the filler, and generally does not have high gloss requirements. In this product system, silicon micropowder is relatively advantageous (calcium carbonate has poor acid resistance, talc powder with the same fineness is relatively high in oil absorption and wear resistance, and the small specific gravity of barite powder can reduce the paint specific gravity);

2. Powder coating: High hardness is conducive to improving coating strength and reducing powder specific gravity;

3. Floor paint: Low viscosity, good fluidity, and improves the mechanical strength and wear resistance of the coating.
